How we write and check pages

  1. Codes: every code comes from the HSN and SAC master published on the GST portal. We show the 4, 6 or 8 digit level that fits the item.
  2. Rates: goods rates are matched line by line with the rate schedules of notification 9/2025-Central Tax (Rate) and the nil-rated list in notification 10/2025-Central Tax (Rate). Service rates follow notification 11/2017-Central Tax (Rate) as amended. Later changes are added when they are notified.
  3. Automatic checks: before a page goes live, a script compares every goods rate in its table with the official entries for that heading and flags any mismatch.
  4. Writing: drafts are prepared with the help of AI writing tools working from the official extracts. Each draft then goes through a separate review pass, and our editor reads the pages, checks codes, rates and wording, and approves them.
  5. Corrections: write to us when something looks wrong. We correct confirmed errors quickly and update the checked date on the page.
