Business HSN Code started from a simple problem at the billing counter: the item is in front of you, the invoice is open, and you need the right HSN or SAC code and the right GST rate before you can save it. Each page here answers that for one product, service or rule. It gives the code, the sub-codes that matter, the rate from the current rate notification, a sample invoice line, and the codes people often confuse with it.
The site is written for small and medium businesses: traders, manufacturers, contractors, transporters, service providers and the accountants who file for them. The home page has a finder that searches the official HSN and SAC master, and the tool pages include a GST rate finder, an HSN code checker and a GST calculator.
Business HSN Code is an independent reference. It is not the GST portal, the CBIC or GSTN, and it does not file returns or give paid advice.
